For me, the biggest disappointment in this whole disappointment of a book, is that Jake Tapper wrote it. I thought he was a decent journalist. But what do I know about decent journalists? I still miss Dear Abby. And it’s a waste of paper and ink, or if you prefer, computer space. Why did they waste their time writing this silly expose of a president who’s already out of office? There’s one in office right now who probably has a lot more dirt to investigate. Doncha think?
Apparently, journalistic ethics now permits "journalists" to withhold critically relevant information from the public until they can maximize their commodification and bank accounts.
Some journalists have tried to keep the "Biden in mental decline" storyline going long after he's left office. A particularly ghoulish example, from Chris Cilizza (I am not making this up):
"Biden's cancer diagnosis is likely to make his mental acuity issues worse."
I am glad you read "Original Sin" so we did not have to. You have to admire the chutzpah of Tapper and his publisher for applying such a numinous title to a sad story reported by sloppy and tawdry fellows. Perhaps his follow-up, about the collapse of the country into Trumpism, can be called "Paradise Lost."
Exactly right. Full of sound and fury signifying "Hey Tapper, you asshole. You could have saved the country."
I'm pretty sure that's what Shakespeare meant.

I'm embarrassed that I have a master's degree in journalism. Have I mentioned that I have a master's degree in journalism?
Didn't you date Bob Woodward?
Yes. But he was writing for the Montgomery county local paper, hadn’t moved to the big time yet.
You could've met Robert Redford.

Oh, that's good. Or, "The Road."
